Full Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records for Clients using Pastel or Sage accounting software including the preparation and submission of VAT and EMP returns; a compilation of financial statements and performance of independent reviews.

  • Creditors and Debtors
  • Capturing/preparing Invoices, requesting missing invoices and statements, capturing/preparing Credit notes, sending out statements.
  • Prepare Creditors and Debtors reconciliations
  • Post journal entries
  • Attend to Client queries
  • Preparing all debtor control reports for balancing purposes
  • Prepare monthly internal reports for Clients
  • Prepare income statement and balance sheet with schedules
  • Compiling financial statements
  • Payroll processing, payslips preparation, and relevant tax submissions
  • Petty Cash administration
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Write up of cashbook by processing bank statements
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT Reconciliations
