Short Job Description: 

The client is a small multidisciplinary firm, specialising in high-end residential projects. They are looking for a suitably skilled and experienced person to prepare council submission and construction drawings for various projects. If /when drawing work is not required, assistance with site meetings and/or administration of the projects at the office may be required.

Sliding scale from R160 to R200 per hour based on monthly activity

Full Job Description: 

The company environment is generally that of work from home with flexible hours, with the onus being on the staff ensuring they get the work done within the agreed time frames. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled architectural designer to grow in a small, but established company. This position will suit an architectural draftsperson, technician or fully qualified graduate, wanting to return to the workplace.


Produce high quality council submission and construction drawings along with the ability to produce hand drawings and 3D models.
Receive and interpret a concept design.
Produce presentations for client approval
Create and maintain a positive company profile through our website.

Autocad proficiency essential, in addition to Revit or Archicad 
Sketchup is an advantage
Good overall software skills
Good organisational skills and time management
Honest, hardworking and self-motivated - able to work without oversight.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Being able to prioritise and work under pressure


Work from home and/or from our office on most days, but will be required in office from time to time.

Own PC / Mac and software is an advantage, but not critical.
