Perfect position for a capable and disciplined candidate to work at the office and from home as dictated by the timelines. The candidate will oversee and manage auditing procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy. Previous audit experience is essential, as this individual will be managing themselves as well as an audit clerk on these audits. A detail oriented and analytical person would be best suited for this position and extensive knowledge of auditing procedures, practices and standards are mandatory. 



Perform and control the full audit cycle. 

Audit planning - Determine audit scope and audit programme.

Oversee and manage auditing procedures

Allocate tasks and responsibilities to audit clerks

Perform audit duties as and when required by the project.

Review audit work for accuracy, completeness and compliance

Perform effective risk and control assessments

Perform proper planning and completion activities and document timeously on audit files

Complete audits on time and submit reports to audit partner

Present audit findings in a professional manner with detailed recommendations for improvement

Coordinate audits



Previous experience as an auditor

Extensive knowledge of auditing procedures, practices and standards

Up to date knowledge of applicable laws and legislation

Skilled in MS Office (especially Excel), Caseware Audit / Draftworx and accounting software

Strong internet connection

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Attention to detail

Integrity and reliability

B.Com degree and article experience
