A new producer in the FMCG industry based in Zonnebloem requires a bookkeeper/office administrator to join their team, responsible for financial administration up to trial balance. Immediate start

Full Job Description: 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining monthly management accounts up to and including Trial Balance
  • Stock control management (using Pastel module)
  • Commission structures to be set up for local and international agents
  • Monthly Sales management (debtors and creditors)
  • Invoice management and quotations
  • Expenses management
  • Compile and ensure monthly and annual SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, etc). Liaise with the accountant to prepare for AFS
  • Compile monthly sales data/graphs
  • General administration as required, maintain credit applications for suppliers, ensure updated AE compliance, regular follow-ups with outstanding debtors. Provide regular reports and as required
  • Inventory and sales: co-ordinate deliveries and payments
  • Maintain an accurate and updated database of domestic/international client database
  • Maintain staff records - salaries (gross / net), leave and any relevant legal compliance.
  • Liaison with accountant

Skills and experience:

  • Pastel experience
  • Accuracy with figures and work experience processing up to trial balance
  • Inputting accurate data and ability to meet deadlines and use initiative
