A specialist risk insurance company requires a Compliance Administrator to assist with administration/collation of supporting documentation required for compliance returns, and statutory profile updates on the respective licences. Urgent role to start immediately.

Full Job Description:

  • Maintain and update FSCA Representative register
  • Issue and maintain records of Representative certificates
  • Co-ordinating FAIS and other legislative training programs with HR relating to managing delegate lists and recording of results onto Representative register
  • Update and maintain Complaints register with regards to Ombud complaints. Obtain relevant supporting documentation from partners to enable to respond on matters to Ombud.
  • Consolidate compliance monitoring sheets from respective Key Individuals.
  • Monitor the Intermediary dashboard (which include: PI & FG cover monitoring and IGF monitoring) and report anomalies or outstanding items to Group Compliance Officer.
  • Administration of quarterly compliance meetings including agenda and minutes to forum members.
  • Assist Compliance officer with the collection of supporting documentation for annual and quarterly Compliance returns to relevant regulators.
  • General assistance to Compliance Officer on ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:  A tertiary qualification preferably in the field of law or relevant experience. Knowledge of insurance law could be advantageous
Skills: Attention to detail, logical and organised. Energetic and Self-starter who does not need to be micro-managed. Keen interest to learn and develop into a trainee Compliance Officer. Ability to work independently and use own initiative. Ability to be discreet and act in a confidential manner. Effective time management skills and deadline driven.
