Short Job Description: 

A 6-Month Fixed Duration role with a possible opportunity to go permanent is available for a knowledgeable Human Resources Manager with expertise in Performance Management and Training.  December start preferred, else 4 January 2021 latest.  Working hours 10:00 - 18:30.  During the lockdown, all employees work remotely but will resume in-office presence again post-lockdown.

Work from home during lockdown, and in Cape Town office post lockdown.

Full Job Description: 

Essential Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in the field
  2. Experience designing and implementing a performance management system essential

Primary Focus of Role:

  • Develop a forward-thinking, world-class performance management system that can be implemented globally
  • Drive the roll-out of the system globally and ensure any and all training is conducted across and within teams
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Help the Line Managers solve specific problems, raised in performance appraisals
  • Keep up to date with developments in performance management by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
  • Develop all associated documentation, training plans
  • Develop job descriptions and career planning documents
  • Develop associated policies and procedure documents

Location:  Gardens, Cape Town

Working hours: 10:00 - 18:30
