Summary Of Role

Want to hire Junior Business Consultant who will provide support to small and medium-sized business.

The role has 2 specific functions;

Offer strategic business consulting to entrepreneurs by spending time with the business owner to understand their key challenges.

Project manage 3rd party service providers in their delivery of support which is contracted on behalf of an entrepreneur.

In addition, the position requires an active role in;

  • Providing relevant business advisory services to existing small and medium enterprises
  • Planning workshops and events to high-value start-ups and existing businesses
  • Monitoring and evaluating the improvement of client businesses
  • Mentoring, coaching and training entrepreneurs in all aspect of business management
  • Supporting enterprises to develop innovative business cases and assessing their profitability and capital needs
  • Working in close collaboration with Project Managers in coordinating Business Development Services for selected SME’s

The candidate will be required to report back to the executive team of large corporate clients, including presentations and written reports.

Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3yrs working experience.
  • Have client-facing experience
  • Commerce degree (or similar)

Preference is given to:

  • Accounting/ financial management
  • Intimate understanding of the BEE Codes
  • Experience in different roles and in diverse industries is preferred (eg management consulting background).
  • Business Mentorship
  • Project Management

Qualifications

Minimum requirement: Degree in Commerce (or similar)
