A property company is seeking an engaging, friendly and detail-oriented front desk Receptionist to join their team. This individual will be directly responsible for the front desk, with a focus on administration and reception duties. This position is based in Woodmead, Sandton.

Full Job Description: 

Role description:

  • Taking phone calls;
  • Placement of all property adds on Property 24;
  • Does all tenant application filing/checks /credit checks;
  • Draws up the 1st and 2nd notice letters;
  • Follows up constantly on outstanding rental monies;
  • Deal with any queries from tenants;
  • Deal with tenants 2 months prior to their lease termination on if the tenant will vacate or renew the property;
  • Drawing up of the lease agreements for new tenants;
  • Drawing up of renewal lease agreements for tenants renewing;
  • Sending RMS payments;
  • Sending utility statements;
  • Scanning of all documents (Leases, Conduct Rules, Entry Inspection)
  • Completing movement forms and scanning them to Body Corporates as advised by Body Corporates;
  • Getting banking details from tenants moving out at the end of the month for deposit refunds;
  • Confirming with tenants when they would vacating if they need to move out at the end of the month;
  • General Adhoc Admin;
  • Scanning documents;
  • Completing payment requisitions;
  • Making sure Admin Filing and Filing systems are up to date;
  • Good at building client relationships.



  • Matric;
  • Previous Reception/ Administration experience;
  • Previous Property company administration experience will be highly advantageous
