Receptionist / Practice Manager (Job-Share)

Short Job Description: 

A medical practice requires the skills of 2 Receptionist / Practice Managers to job-share a permanent full-time front-office role. The job will be shared and worked in shifts, 8:00 am - 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm and 1 full Saturday per month. Please note you must be available either mornings or afternoons.

Full Job Description: 

Responsibilities

  • Answer Calls, direct calls, take messages, and make patient bookings
  • Receive patients and direct them
  • Ensure patient complete the relevant forms 
  • Process patient payments and give receipts 
  • Assist with invoicing and medical aid claim
  • Ordering of stationery and stock 
  • Liaise with suppliers and courier services 
  • Ensure the reception and front office area is neat and professional 
  • Manage the housekeeping team
  • Administrative duties as required

Skills:

  • Organised and meticulous
  • Detail orientated
  • Articulate and well-groomed 
  • Strong administrative skills
  • 5 years plus in a front-office role
  • Polite and welcoming to patients
  • Previous experience in a medical practice will be an advantage
