We are recruiting for a regional manager where the focus is on IT channel sales management. The leader should lead their small sales and technical team (Durban and Cape Town based) by example as this is a “hands-on” role.

Full Job Description: 

RecruitMyMom supports Moms through all life stages. We understand the need amongst some candidates and employers, with gender advancement opportunities, for full-time office-based positions. These are carefully considered and may be advertised on our site from time to time.

Remuneration: R90,000 per month. Basic salary of R50,000 per month plus variable/commission of R35,000 plus R5,000 or re-imbursive travel and cell phone allowances.

Durban travel is occasional and as required but approximately once every 4 - 6 weeks for 2 or 3 nights.

Responsibilities and Duties
Achievement of sales target in various ways:

  • Manage the sales team activities and performance (currently there are 4 sales people)
  • Actively participate in selling and training partners

Active oversight role in key accounts.
Champion growth into new business areas based on company strategy.
Drive strong collaboration with JHB office to leverage the deep skills there.
Assist in formulating company strategy by working closely with the CEO.
Manage outsource arrangements or bring in-house for “POC success team” and general technical support
Manage the office matters and personnel (setup, stock, personnel, processes) - One reception / marketing person and one cleaner to assist with this
Handle escalations from customers as required in support of the sales and service team

Advantageous Skills
Experience and understanding of operating within the IT channel landscape in South Africa
Experience in managing a sales team
Experience in network technology
Experience in selling communication solutions
