Must have proven previous experience with a glowing portfolio. This is a BtoBtoC interface. Any experience in the fitness/sport industry will be a bonus.

Full Job Description: 

UX and Web Design Job, Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the successful Incumbent in the short-term are:

  • Management and development of the visual design, along with the branding and the standards
  • Developing the usage scenarios, use-cases, information flows 
  • Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows and then deciding where product prototyping is required
  • Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
  • Managing the development of training and support materials
  • Testing and approving all solutions before implementation 
  • Keeping in mind that the system will be catering for older users

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualification
  • 8+ years of professional experience in user experience (UX), user interface design (UI), App interaction design, information architecture, design, or a related field

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in user experience (UX), user interface design (UI), interaction design, information architecture, design, or a related field
  • Experience working at a fast-paced growing organization 
  • Strong eye for layout, colour, iconography, and typography
  • Experience working directly with other user experience, research, and design professionals
  • Self-motivated and execution-orientated with the ability to work independently as well as take direction within established strategic and business guidelines
  • Expert in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, etc, must be able to build wireframes
  • Presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Language proficiency: Excellent written and verbal English (required)
