An established business offering a wide variety of canvasses and solutions that build brands is looking for a dynamic Supply Planner to manage inventory through effective vendor management, payments and bond store control.

Full Job Description: 

Job Functions

Weighting

Order placement

  • Receive paperwork for orders to be placed and capture on the system
  • Issue orders to suppliers and follow-up with suppliers and GRN
  • Make amendments to orders when required and re-issue purchase order to supplier
  • Double checking of costing of orders vs documentation received
  • Manage payments Container Shipped
  • Manage Booking from Origin, Consolidation
  • Receive shipping documentation from supplier and or shipping agent to verify information against purchase order
  • Create variance report to indicate ordered versus shipped and submit to supplier and find possible solutions to that
  • Create variance reports to the business (i.e. state management, order quantity vs delivered quantity)
  • Capture packing list and shipment information on to the system
  • Update order status if required
  • Manage Payment
  • Pull variance report from system to indicate shipped versus received and to resolve
  • Manage Forwarding agent clearance 10 days prior to arrival at port
  • Planning of delivery destination and location
  • Management of SACD
  • Delivery plan management with warehouse team

 Stock Requests

  • Issue goods received notices on the system and pull report from system to establish daily stock release
  • Manage movements between sales and warehouse

Bond

Store Management

  • Create XDP’s
  • Managing bond store register
  • Load and monitor XDP’s request including VOC and XDP corrections
  • Delivery plan management
