Full Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

  • Full bookkeeping function to trial balance and monthly management accounts
  • Stock management
  • Monthly general journals
  • Liaise with auditors and Financial Manager (Head office Gauteng), and Branch Manager
  • General office administration, and fixed asset management
  • Debtors: maintain credit apps for all customers, collections, reconciliations, and credit control
  • Creditors: monthly recon to statement and system, load on Omni, load on the bank
  • Cashbook: current account, credit card, vehicle asset financing, fleet card, petty cash

Qualifications and skills:

  • Post matric financial relevant qualification and 4 years bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance
  • Experience using Omni software is beneficial and should be included in your cover letter.
  • Experience in the automotive/construction industry would be beneficial (not essential) 
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently required for this role.
