Skills Requirements
 Strong, dynamic and independent leader with good work ethic and team spirit.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Good judgment and problem-solving / decision-making skills.
 Critical thinker that is able to develop strategic vision for the publication, review its financial performance and devise effective on-going promotions.
 Good time management skills.
 Good general knowledge and an understanding of the travel and tourism industries.
 Experience working on print and online publications, driving processes.
 Flexibility in terms of working hours.

Qualifications and Experience
 Tertiary qualification in communications or journalism
 Experience managing staff
 Experience in journalism and editing, preferably with experience in trade publications.
 Subbing, layout and proofing experience.
 Preferably some travel experience.

Devising and implementing editorial plan

Gathering editorial

Production and layout

Marketing publication

Managing staff resources

Reporting to: Content Director
