Portfolio Assistant / Paraplanner job, Port Elizabeth 

Leading financial services company has a job for a Portfolio Assistant/Paraplanner who will play an important role in assisting a team that advises, services and
manages local and offshore investment portfolios for high net worth clients. This position will suit a graduate who would like to build a career in high end portfolio management.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer client accounts

• Liaise with clients and assist with client queries

• Maintain client relationships where necessary

• Develop an understanding of the portfolio management business

• Prepare investment proposals for clients where necessary

• Keep abreast of current markets and company-specific information

• Prepare client review packs

Open client accounts (local & offshore) and obtain the necessary FICA documentation

• Maintain and actively develop client databases

Daily and monthly planning & reporting on key areas (client review/appointments etc.)

• Maintain accurate spreadsheets for monthly client income payments

• Assist portfolio managers with administrative matters
