Full Job Description: 



  • Regulatory 
    • Experience in regulatory – DAFF 
    • Technical Dossier compilation
    • Understanding of accreditations – GMP/GLP/SANAS/OECD/SANS/FAO
    • Renewals countrywide and SADC
    • Updating in house files


  • New product development
    • Costing on new product development – outline process and timeline
    • Market research on proposed products
    • Presentation on potential product development and investment
    • Preparing formulations and ensuring all excipients and technical have tds and sds
    • Preparing stabilities in accordance to OECD guidelines
    • Preparing trials in accordance to OECD guidelines


  • Administration: 
    • Capabilities and assisting with manager’s requests  
    • Dossier compilation G reg and L reg updates
    • Open part of a DMF compilation
    • Understand ministerial guidelines for stock remedies and agricultural remedies


    • for Clients and in-house R&D 
    • Samples for research and development
    • Pastel experience – sample store is on pastel
    • Sample stock maintenance
    • Sample form maintenance 
    • The ordering of samples- forecasting
    • ensuring clients and labs have up to date samples
    • dispatching samples from pastel and tracking them
    • Commercial invoicing

  • Tertiary education in ideally one of the below, however this is not crucial.
    • BSC – pharmacy 
    • BSC – Pharmacy regulatory
    • BSC – Zoology / entomology / horticulture
